After many years of discussion, the Board decided to move forward with significant renovations and reconstruction of the Tinton Falls Middle School fields. The project was approved in the summer of 2023 and work was completed throughout the Fall and Winter months in time for both baseball and softball to start their 2024 season. The improvements included – improved drainage, irrigation repairs, complete sod installation, new infield/clay, new fencing, dugouts, backstops, foul poles, and seating. On April 15th, we had an opening day ceremony for baseball and softball as they both had their first home games on the field that day.
The recent upgrades to our baseball field have truly transformed the playing experience for our students to be used during the day and athletes for baseball, softball and soccer. These enhancements ensure that our field is safer and more enjoyable for everyone. We look forward to many more generations that come to Tinton Falls to enjoy the fields during the school day and for our after-school sport programs.
